LENA FRANZ (d. 1958)

Mrs. Albert Franz, 82, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Thursday at home
after a four months illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. L.H. Koeninger officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Franz, nee Lena Stueck, was born Dec. 18, 1874, in the Town of Two
Rivers, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Nichols Stueck. In 1898, she
was married to Mr. Franz and they lived in Manitowoc a year and moved to
the homestead farm where they spent the remainder of their lives. He
preceded her in death 11 years ago.
Survivors include a son, Emil of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Harvey
Kohlmeier of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Hoefner of Manitowoc and Mrs.
Emma Rahn of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Thursday and after 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
