Mr. Robert H. Franz, 90, of 901 Hamilton Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning,
November 4, 1986 at his residence. Cremation will take place with burial at
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Franz was born March 25, 1896 at Oldenburg, Germany. He came to the United
States as a young man in 1914. He married the former Elsa Luedke and she preceded
him in death in 1943. He later married Nathalie Dwyer on June 10, 1949 at Kansas
City, Missouri. The couple returned to Manitowoc. Mr. Franz worked as Assistant
Treasurer and Credit Manager for Mirro Aluminum Company, retiring in 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Nathalie of Manitowoc; a son and a daughter-in-law,
Robert and Donna Franz of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and
Wilber Miller of Westcliff, Colorado; five grandchildren and a great grandchild
also survive. He was preceded in death by a son. There will be no visitation at
the funeral home. Jens Funeral Home of Manitowoc assisted the family with
arrangements.
