Roland W. Frazier, 81, of 520 Buffalo St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral
Home, and 10 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry A.
Westlund will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military
graveside rites will be accorded Mr. Frazier by American Drews-Bleser Post No.
88 of Manitowoc.
Mr. Frazier was born May 10, 1894, at Manitowoc, son of the late William and
Louise Dischel Frazier. He was educated in Manitowoc public schools. He was a
World War I Veteran, serving from 1917 to 1920 as a bayonet and machine gun
instructor. He married Lottie Steffock June 19, 1920, at Manitowoc. He was
assistant City of Manitowoc treasurer for 39 years, retiring in 1962. He was
a member of American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88 for 55 years and served
as commander of the post in 1936. He was a member of Manitowoc Masonic Lodge
N. 65, F & AM of Manitowoc, St. James Episcopal Church and served on the
vestry for three years.
Surviving is his wife, Lottie. A sister, Anita, preceded him in death in 1948.
