Ray J. Frick, 59, of 815 Park St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Manitowoc
Engineering Co. of a coronary attack. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm
Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. G.J. Zanotti will officiate
and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Frick was born June 1, 1911 at Manitowoc, son of the late Jesse and Vana
Kessen Frick. He resided in Manitowoc all his life. He attended Manitowoc Public
schools and was very active in athletics at Lincoln High School where he was
graduated in 1929. He married Dorothy LesMonde Aug. 27, 1930 at Chicago. He was
employed as director of the Newton Fire Insurance Co. and former Deacon of the
church. His wife preceded him in death Jan. 12, 1955.
Survivors include three sons, Elmer of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, Norman of Gardens, Calif.,
and Clarence of Rt. 1, Newton; a brother, Otto of Manitowoc; six grandchildren
and a great granddaughter. A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 pm Tuesday until
11:30 am Wednesday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body
will lie in state until time of services.

Mr. Frick, a native of Manitowoc, had been prominent in athletics while attending
Lincoln High School, and was track captain and hockey captain in 1929. He
participated in high school dramatics and was a charter member of Masquers Inc.,
and a member of Little Gallery Inc.
He had served the Fourth Ward of Manitowoc on Manitowoc County Board two terms,
had been secretary of the county's purchasing committee and chairman of the rules
and legislative committee. He had been a dispatcher in the service department of
Manitowoc Engineering Corp. Friends may call at the funeral home this Tuesday
evening.
