Mrs. Florence Fricke, 68, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc. She had been ill for several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church, the Rev.
Theodore P. Crusius officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Fricke was born Florence Meisnest June 25, 1893, at Branch, daughter of
the late John and Etta Brunig Meisnest. She was married to George Kiel Nov. 27,
1912. He preceded her in death May 25, 1945. She was married to Irving Fricke
Aug. 23, 1947. He preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1962.
She was a member of First Reformed Church, Ladies Aid and Bethany aid of the
church, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Pythian Sisters and Riverside Homemakers.
Survivors include three sons, Lester of Whitelaw, Milton of Manitowoc and Elwood
of Beaver Dam; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Beaupre of Manitowoc and Mrs. Earl
Larson of Chilton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard Kloiber of Manitowoc; a brother,
Ervin of California; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Welson of Appleton and Mrs. Marie
Zoelk of Neenah, 17 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A brother preceded her
in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 10:30 a.m. Thursday when
the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until the
hour of service.
Memorials may be sent to Memorial Hospital and First Reformed Church.
