Leo H. Fricke, 64, of 24__ Clark St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon following
a heart attack. He had been at his cottage on English Lake to check on storm
damage to his property and was towing a raft back to shore when stricken. Mr.
Fricke had been in good health.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical and Reformed
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Fricke was born at Manitowoc Jan. 24, 1896, son of the late Henry and Anna
Coutley Fricke. He married Linda Goethke May 4, 1916, and August 25, 1916, began
to work for Aluminum Specialty Co. He had been a press room foreman. Mr. Frick

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Miss Marie C. Fricke and Mrs. Donald
Ke__ of Manitowoc and Mrs. Louis H____ of Two Rivers, __________ of Manitowoc;
a brother, Ervin of Manitowoc; two sisters, Miss Ethel Fricke and Miss Viola
Fricke of Manitowoc and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The casket will be moved
to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday where the body will lie in state until the
hour of service.
