C. FROSCH, 67, WELL KNOWN CONTRACTOR, DIES AT HOME HERE
After a lingering illness of a year, Carl Frosch, 67, well known cement
contractor affiliated with the Miller-Frosch company for a number of years,
passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Erwin Miller, Philippine street
yesterday afternoon.
The deceased was born at Liberty May 22, 1862 but for the past twenty-six
years has made his home in Manitowoc. He was married in 1885 at Liberty to
Miss Mary Marek who died eight years ago. Three children were born to the
couple who with six step children survive. Mrs. William J. Rohrer, Mrs.
Erwin Miller, and Leonard Frosch, and the stepchildren, Mrs. John Strodhoff,
Mrs. Fred Hartwig, Mrs. Emil Awe of Four Corners, Louis of Oconto, William
of Iron Mountain, and Carl of Edgeton, South Dakota.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at the
home of Mrs. William Rohrer, Rev. Kuhn officiating. Interment will be at
the Evergreen cemetery.
