Mrs. William (Sibyl) Gallenberger, 86, of 1445 North 7th Street, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, July 20, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Family funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home. The Rev. William Zimmer officiated with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Sibyl V. Smith was born October 30, 1897, at Plover, Iowa, daughter of the late Peter and Alice Smith. She married William P. Gallenberger on February 4, 1920, at Delavan, Wisconsin. Mrs. Gallenberger was a member of Wisconsin Association of the Death (sic).
Survivors include her husband, William of Manitowoc; a son and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Lois Gallenberger of Seattle, Washington; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Catherine and Roy Fricke of Manitowoc, Josephine Horkman of Green Bay, Alice and Robert Koob of Manitowoc, Pauline Beitzel of Manitowoc and 53 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survived.
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, was in charge of arrangements.
