ROSE GAUGER

Mrs. Henry H. (Rose I.) Gauger, 93, formerly of 1330 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning in Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Koch will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Gauger, nee Rose Schley was born December 1, 1884 in Cooperstown, daughter of the late John and Ida Zahn Schley. She was educated at St. John School, Maribel and was married to Henry H. Gauger January 9, 1905 in Maribel. Mr. Gauger preceded her in death June 24, 1963. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include a brother, Albert Schley of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and a close friend. A daughter, Edna, preceded her in death in 1936. An infant son also preceded her in death. Friends may call in Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc after 4 p.m. Sunday and in the church from noon Monday until the time of service.
