Mrs. Sarah L. (Sally) Geigel, 53, of 1457 N. 8th Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, January 29, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home and 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Felton with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Geigel was born May 31, 1931, at Harrison, New Jersey, daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes McBride Garrigan. She grew up and was educated at Harrison, New Jersey. She married Peter Sataline in June of 1951. He preceded her in death February of 1952. She then married William V. Geigel August 13, 1955 at Nutley, New Jersey. Mrs. Geigel had been employed at North Ridge Care Center for 12 years. Mrs. Geigel was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, William; five sons, Patrick, William J., James, Timothy and Raymond, all of Manitowoc; three daughters, Bridget, Sharon and Colleen, all of Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bernard and Bernice Geigel of Two Rivers and Edward (Jim) and Mary Kunz of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Garrigan in 1981.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday evening and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening led by Deacon Donald Gigure.
