Mrs. Louise Geisler Passes Away this Noon at Home of Daughter
Mrs. Louise Geisler, 77, widow of the late Henry Geisler, passed away this noon
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Kaufman, 1114 South Seventh Street, to
which place she was removed three weeks ago, when her condition became critical.
Burial will take place from the homestead, 1125 South 12th St., Monday afternoon
at two o'clock with Rev. Koeninger officiating.
The maiden name of the deceased was Louise Koepke and she was born in this city
in 1858. She was married in 1880 to Henry Geisler, who passed away six years ago.
Five daughters, Mrs. Herman Pleuss, Mrs. Walter Huchthausen, Mrs. Jos. Kaufman
and Mrs. Gerhardt Franke, all of this city and Mrs. Edward Price of Genessee,
Wis., and one son, Arthur of this city, survive. There is also one brother, Fred
Koepke and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Geisler, both of this city.
