Joseph G. Gibeault of 1817 Adams Street, Two Rivers, died Monday evening,
April 21, at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday
at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Greg Smith will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Gibeault was born in Coleman, Wisconsin, son of the late Hermidas and Azarine
Brault Gibeault. Mr. Gibeault was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for a short
time and for many years until his retirement was employed at the United States
Post Office in Two Rivers as a postal clerk. On September 7, 1974, he married
Olive Hansen at Manitowoc. Mr. Gibeault was a member of the Knights of Columbus,
Owls Club and the Postal Workers Union.
Survivors include his wife, Olive; a daughter, Joan Callan of Chicago; a stepson
and daughter-in-law, Leon and Judy Hansen of Manitowoc; a stepdaughter and
son-in-law, Ardis and Dale Vogt of Manitowoc; a sister, Sophie Austin of Seattle,
Washington; a grandson, several step-grandchildren and three step great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-great grandson, four sisters
and four brothers.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, 4 pm to 8 pm
Wednesday where a memorial service by the Knights of Columbus and family will
be at 7 pm.
