EMILY GILL
Mrs. Emily Gill, 75, of 913 N. 11th St., died Saturday evening at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient three days.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. E.A. Radey will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Gill, the former Emily Gruber, was born Nov. 7, 1891, in the Town of Gibson,
daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Hershman Gruber. She was married to
William J. Gill Sept. 12, 1911, at Maple Grove and they resided there until 1921
when they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Gill preceded her in death June 2, 1954.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin and Gorden of Manitowoc, two daughters, Mrs.
Harley Metzger, of Manitowoc and Clarice Gill, of Chicago, Ill.; five grand-
children and a great grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8
o’clock this Monday evening.
