Mrs. Herbert W. Glaeser, 59, of 3310 Meadow Ln., Manitowoc, died Thursday
morning at Algoma Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Armin Roekle officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Anita Kieselhorst was born June 27, 1904, in the Town of Cato,
daughter of the late Fred and Anna Haefke Kieselhorst. She was married to
Herbert Glaeser April 28, 1923, in the Town of Newton. They lived on a farm
there until 1929 when they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Glaeser died in 1960. She
was a charter member of Bethany Church Ladies Aid.
Surviving are a son, Richard Glaeser of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Glen
Wawirka of Algoma and Mrs. William Cape of Manitowoc; two brothers, Raymond
and Norbert Kieselhorst of Manitowoc; and four grandchildren. A son, Wallace
Glaeser, also preceded in death in 1961.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p..m.
Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and after 1:30 a.m. at the church.
