WOMAN DIES AS SHE PLANNED TO GO TO HOSPITAL
Mrs. William Glye died at the family home on South Thirteenth street this morning
at 8:30 oclock following an illness of less than a week. Death was due to heart
failure and came as a shock to the family and a wide circle of friends.
Preparations have been made to take Mrs. Glye to the hospital to undergo an
operation for gall stones.
Mrs. William Glye, nee Matilda Warnke, was born in this city and thirty years ago
was married at Kaukauna to the husband who with two sons and two daughters, Raymond
of Milwaukee and Charles of Detroit, Mrs. James McMahon of Milwaukee and Mrs. Jack
Barrett of Markesan, survives to mourn her death. One sister, Mrs. Ernst Bush of
Madsen Station and five grandchildren also survive her. The Glye family made its
home at Kaukauna until three years ago when they returned to this city, the former
home of the couple.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from the home and burial will be made
at Evergreen.
