An old man named Henry Goeters died quite suddenly of heart disease on Sunday.
He was on his way to church from the town of Manitowoc, in which he lived. His
wife who sat in a seat behind him in the light wagon in which he rode, noticed
him away in the seat when near Wiebolt's saloon. The team was driven into the
yard, and Goeters was found rigid in his seat. He was quite an old man.

(I don't find a Henry Goeters on the 1880 census. Eduard may have been called
Henry.)
