Mrs. Caroline Brick Goodspeed, 80, a long time Colorado resident, died Tuesday,
February 20, 1990, at Aurora, Colorado.
Memorial Service was held at Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora.
She was born Caroline Brick on December 29, 1909, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
daughter of the late Erhardt and Elifzabeth Vogelsang Brick. She moved to
Manitowoc with her family and graduated from Manitowoc High School and earned
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics from Stout Institute, now Stout
State University. She taught school for many years in Clinton, Wisconsin. She
married Owen Goodspeed in March of 1950. He preceded her in death May 7, 1961.
Caroline furthered her education at the Colorado State University and became a
Home Demonstation Agent in Fremont County, Colorado. She later returned to
Aurora and worked as a live in companion to the elderly.
Survivors include a cousin, Mrs. Ida Young of Manitowoc and other relatives and
friends.
Graveside committal services of her cremains will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday
at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Rev. William B. Plank will officiate. Friends
may gather at the main entrance of Evergreen Cemetery on North 18th Street at
2:30 on Tuesday. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with
arrangements.
