Irene M. Gospodarek, 58, of 214A N. 73rd St., Milwaukee, died Monday morning in St. Joseph Hospital, Milwaukee. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Schneider and Purath Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Gospodarek was born March 15, 1919 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Robert and Celia Bonin Gospodarek, attending Manitowoc schools and was employed with Mirro Aluminum Co. until 1960 when she moved to Milwaukee to work as a savings counselor with Great Midwest Savings and Loan. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Milwaukee.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Sylvester (Slip) and Geneva Gospodarek of Manitowoc. Friends may call in Schneider and Purath Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Harry J. Bergner is in charge of arrangements.
