ARNO GOSSE

Arno T. Gosse, 83, of 512 S. 32nd St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly at his home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Reformed United church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Gosse was born April 19, 1899, in Calumet County, son of the late Theodore and Anna Lange Gosse. He was a carpenter by trade, employed with Hamann Construction Company and later Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company, retiring in 1968. He married Dorothy Lutz, June 21, 1924, at Elkhart Lake. The couple moved to Manitowoc to reside. She preceded him in death in 1980. Mr. Gosse was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ and Carpenters Union 849.
Survivors include a brother, Walter Gosse of Kiel, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at First Reformed United Church of Christ, Monday from noon until the time of services. There will be no Sunday evening visitation at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Memorials may be made to First Reformed United Church of Christ.
