Mrs. William D. Grabinsky, 81, of 1661 Laurel St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 12, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Private funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. William B. Plank will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Grabinsky, nee Roma Cresence Rudebeck, was born July 15, 1900, at Kewaunee, Wis., daughter of the late Mathias J. and Cresence Seidl Rudebeck. She graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1917, and Milwaukee Normal School in 1919. She was a primary grade school teacher at New Holstein and Manitowoc prior to her marriage to William D. Grabinsky June 28, 1927, at Manitowoc, the couple residing here. Mrs. Grabinsky was a charter member and past president of Thalia Dramatic Club, and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, William at home, and a daughter and son-in-law, Greta Gail and Keith C. Roberts of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by a sister.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home Tuesday evening. Memorials may be made to Manitowoc County Chapter of American Cancer Society and First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc.
