Mrs. Joseph Graczyk, 47, of 1129 North 18th street, died Wednesday afternoon
at the home, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home and at 9:30 at the Holy Innocents church, the Rev. E. A.
Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Gracyzk, nee Elizabeth Watzka, was born in Pine Grove, Brown county, in
1897 and in 1918 was married to Mr. Gracyzk. They located in this city. She
was a member of the Altar society of the Holy Innocents congregation.
Survivors are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Douglas Prahl, Shirley and
Janet, all of this city; two sons, Seaman 2/c Norbert and Radioman 3/c Melton,
both in the U.S. Navy; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Watzke of Pine Grove; two
brothers, Melvin and Joseph of Pine Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Ben Rathsack of
Newton, Mrs. Emil Berger of Sturgeon Bay, Mrs. Glen Hanson of San Francisco;
and one grandchild.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o’clock this evening. The
rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
