Mr. Daniel A. Graff, 59, of 1129 N. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, May 27,
1989 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Memorial services will be 1:30 pm
Sunday, June 4, 1989 at A.P.Z. Synagogue, Rabbi Mayer Relles will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Graff was born July 15, 1929 at Manitowoc, son of Dora Schoenberger and the
late Julius Graff. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln
High School in 1947. Mr. Graff served in the Armed Forces in the Korean War in
the Navy. He married Marion Kaplan, June 15, 1952 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the
couple coming to Manitowoc shortly thereafter to make their home. Mr. Graff worked
at the Graff Food Market with his brother, Herbert, later owning and operating the
Graff and Felber Foodland and the Supermarket in St. Nazianz for a number of years.
Mr. Graff was a member of A.P.Z. Synagogue and past president of Bnai Brith. He was
a member of Manitowoc Braille Club, American Legion Drew Bleser Post Veterans of
Foreign War No. 88 and Lions Club of St. Nazianz.
Survivors include his wife, Marion, his mother, Dora of Manitowoc; a son, Russell
of Wisconsin Dells; two daughters, Leah of San Francisco and Ann of Boston,
Massachusetts; a brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Virginia Graff of Madison;
a sister, Paula Etzkin of Cleveland, Ohio; nieces; nephews; other relatives and
friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society. Jens Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family in funeral arrangements.
