Mrs. Charles Granzow, 82, died Sunday afternoon at the home, 833 South
19th street, after a five months illness. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 2 p.m., from the First Reformed church, the Rev. Gilbert
Wernecke officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Granzow, nee Bertha Brandt was born in Germany and was married there
in 1884 to Charles Granzow. They came to this country in 1891 and located
in Manitowoc.
Mrs. Granzow was one of the early day members of the First Reformed
congregation.
Survivors are the widower; three sons, Otto, Max and Fred, all of this
city; three daughters, Mrs. Edward Allen and Mrs. Arthur Dent, both of this
city, Mrs. Howard Bromwell, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Pfeffer funeral home and will be moved to the church
Tuesday at 11 a.m., where it will lie in state until the hour of the
services, when the casket will be closed.
