Death on 07 May in Town Newton of Mrs. Christian Grapentin after
an illness of several years with rheumatism. The deceased was born
21 Jan. 1841 in Pomerania and was married to her now surviving
husband in 1860, the two coming to America in 1869. The couple
settled on a farm in Town Newton and have lived there ever since.
In addition to her husband, the deceased leaves 2 sons. The
funeral was held Thurs. under the direction of Pastor Sieker.
