Miss Dorothy Gray of ___ s. __ St., Manitowoc died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon
at Milwaukee.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. __ __ Gray, she was born at Whitewater,
Wis., and came to Manitowoc as a child with her parents. Her father operated the
Manitowoc Waterworks and Mrs. Gray attended Manitowoc High School and was graduated
from Wellesley College at Wellesley, Mass., in 19__. She _____at the University of
Wisconsin at Madison. For a number of years, Mrs. Gray was engaged as a teacher at
Appleton and later at Racine.
She was a member of Delta Gamma sorority, served on the committee for Bundles for
Britain in World War II and was a member of the Gray Ladies.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. George M. Pinney (or Finney?) of ____ __. A sister,
Helen of Manitowoc, died three years ago.
