Viola M. Gresl, 79, of 616 S. 30th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning, December 4,
1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am
Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer and Rev.
Philip Hoffmann and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Gresl was born August 6, 1908 at Antigo, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Frank
and Lena Vogel Tuschel. She was married to Joseph O. Gresl, July 8, 1930 at St. Mary
Catholic church, Clarks Mills. Mrs. Gresl was a member of St. Paul Christian Mother
Rosary and Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph O. Gresl of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-
law, Wayne and Dianne Gresl of Stevens Point; a daughter and son-in-law, Marcella
and Alfred Grall of Whitelaw and Emogene and Raymond Brunner of Whitelaw; six grand
children, Julie Vandenhouten, Tom Emme and Fritz Emme Jr., Cheryl, Ryan and Michael
Gresl. She was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Mrs. Anton (Gladys)
Grall.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Sunday, where a
prayer service will be 7:30 pm by Deacon William Klein.
