HUGO A. GRIEBLING

Hugo Griebling, 59, of 1414 Clark street died early Sunday morning at the Holy
Family hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesdy afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Pfeffer
funeral home with the Rev. Carl Hagen officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mr. Griebling was born Dec. 9, 1884, in this city and lived here all his life.
He married Miss Clara Qualman on May 6, 1916. He was a member of the local aerie
of Eagles.
Survivors are the wife, one son, Elroy, seven daughters, Gladys and Clarabelle
at home, Mrs. Victor Meisner, Mrs. Alvin Bailey, Mrs. William Karlan and Mrs.
Arthur Boyer, all of this city, and Mrs. Raymond McIntyre of Chicago; three
brothers, Reinhart of this city and Max and Oscar of Fond du Lac, and nine
grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 o'clock this evening to the
time of the services.

At the parsonage of the German Reformed church, Rev. George Grether
united in marriage, Miss Clara Qualman of Algoma and Hugo Griebling
of this city. The bride has made her home here the past two years,
while the groom is employed at the Seating company. They left for
Algoma for a few days and will return here to make their home.
