HEART ATTACK CLAIMS LIFE OF MRS. GROBE
Stricken with a heart attack at her home at 1915 Western Avenue, yesterday
afternoon, Mrs. Johanna Grobe, aged 53, died a few moments later after being
rushed to the Holy Family hospital. Mrs. Grobe had been in the best of health
and there was no warning of what was to happen.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 from the St. Paul church,
the Rev. Father Jaekels officiating, and burial will take place at Evergreen.
Born in Kossuth, Nov. 30, 1874, Mrs. Grobe, nee Rumpf, shortly after removed
to this city with her parents where her life had been passed. Mr. Grobe
preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving her are her father, Henry Rumpf, three daughters, Mrs. George Keter
of this city, and the Misses Anita and Ida who made their home with their mother.
A grandchild and two brothers, Frank Rumpf of Kossuth and Albert of Two Rivers,
and a sister, Mrs. William Bozenthal, also survive.
