Mrs. Gullick Grotbeck, 53, nee Annette Greenwold of 724 North Seventh street,
died Saturday at the Holy Family hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the St. Paul’s Norwegian
Lutheran church, the Rev. R. B. Walden officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Grotbeck was born in Norway in 1888 and 32 years ago was married to Mr.
Grotbeck. They came to America 28 years ago and located in North Dakota and
in other Wisconsin points before moving here in 1922. Mr. Grotbeck died three
years ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Harold Sorensen, Mable, and Lillian, all
of this city; four sons, Melvin, Gordon, Morris and Alfred, all of this city;
four brothers, Fred of Portage, Alfred and Steven of Chicago, Rolf, of Scofield,
Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and will
be moved to the church Tuesday at 10 a.m. to lie in state until the hour of the
services.
