GULLICK O. GROTBECK

Gulluk Olson Grotbak(sic), 48, of 724 North Seventh St., died suddenly of a
heart attack at his home early Sunday morning. He was found dead in bed by his
wife when she went to call him for breakfast. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 2:30 pm from the St. Paul Lutheran church of which he was a member.
The Rev. E.A. Fretheim of Valders will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mr. Grotbak was born in Norway in 1890. In 1910 he married Miss Annette Anderson
and 25 years ago they came to this country. They located in Manitowoc in 1922
and have since resided here. Mr. Grotbak was a carpenter.
Survivors are the widow; three daughters, Gudren, Mabel and Lillian, all of this
city; five sons, Godfrey, Melvin, Gordon, Morris and Alf, all of this city;
three sisters, two in Norway and one in North Dakota and three grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer Funeral Home tonight and will be moved to
the St. Paul's Lutheran church Tuesday morning.
