DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ANNA GRUN AT HOME HERE
Mrs. Anna Grun, 81, widow of the late Frank Grun, passed away last night at 11
o'clock at the family home, 516 York street, following a stroke.
The deceased was one of the pioneer residents of the county, having been born at
Mishicot, August 15, 1848, and has resided here for forty-six years.
The maiden name of the deceased was Anna Hoffman and she was married to Mr. Grun
61 years ago. Her husband has been deceased for a number of years.
Two daughters, Mrs. A.L. Thompson of Kenosha and Mrs. Albert Gran of Rochester,
Minn., and three sons, John Grun of Kenosha and Frank and William Grun of this
city, survive. One brother, Peter Hoffman of Milwaukee, two sisters, Mrs. Louis
Fields of Sheboygan and Mrs.
Katherine Jackquette of Two Rivers, seventeen grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at two o'clock in charge of
Rev. Hood of the St. James church. The place of funeral will be given in
Saturday's paper.
