MARY ANN GRUN (d. 1999)

Mary Ann Grun, age 48, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday, August 13, 1999
following a courageous battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia at St. Luke
Medical Center, Milwaukee.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at First
Lutheran Church, 521 North Eighth Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Steven Olson will
officiate with burial of her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mary Ann was born June 18, 1951, at Manitowoc, daughter of Warden (Greenie) and
Joan Detlefs Grun. She was employed at Holiday House for 31 years and was a
member of First Lutheran Church. Mary Ann enjoyed music, crossword puzzles and
being with the people she loved.
Survivors include her parents: Warden (Greenie) and Joan Grun, Manitowoc; brother
and sister-in-law Jack and Maureen Grun and their son, Mason, Suamico, Wis.;
sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Dan Levine and their son, Loren, Madison,
Wis.
Aunts and uncles include: Donald and Mary Anderson, Vero Beach, Fla.; Jesse and
Beverly Paris, Menominie (sic), Mich.; Jack & Joyce Grun, Peshtigo, Wis.; Joan
and Fred Oulette, Menominie (sic), Mich.
Mary's special cousins: Smokey, Ronnie, Johnny, Tommy and Danny Anderson; special
godmother, Ann Burke, Marinette, Wis.; and many friends also survive.
Relatives and friends may call at First Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until
the time of service.
