Charles J. Grych, 74, of 1925 S. Tenth St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, May 19, at North Ridge Health Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Zimmer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Grych was born April 10, 1911, at Milwaukee, son of the late Michael and Mary Lukasz Grych. He married Christina Nischke, Oct. 15, 1931, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The couple resided in Manitowoc since that time. Prior to retiring in 1970, Mr. Grych was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company as a Welder. He was a member of Boilermakers Local 443.
Survivors include his wife, Christina; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jim Klein of Manitowoc and Veronica and Larry Gehle of Elkkart (sic) Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Elliot of Manitowoc and Mrs. Lester (Celia) Fleischmann of Shawano and five grandchhldren (sic), Kevin, Jeff, Christy, Tessie and Andy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Casimir.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday afternoon.
