FREDERICK J. GUSE

Fredrick John Guse(sic), 59, of 136 Marsh St., West De Pere, died Sunday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. George Knutson will officiate and burial will be in
the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Guse was born Jan. 28, 1911, at Manitowoc, son of the late Frank and Laura
Daeke Guse. He attended local schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School
in 1928. He also attended Lawrence College, Appleton. He married Ann Van Gemert
Oct. 30, 1943, at West De Pere. He was affiliated with the Guse Lumber Co. for
many years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Todd (Laura Ann) Abraham of Fort
Gordon, Ga., and Mrs. Paul (Fredricka) Anders of DePere; a grandson, Fredrick
Anders; a brother, Frank H., of Fort Worth, Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Alfred
Flowers Jr., of Milwaukee.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o’clock this Monday afternoon until
the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
