Roy A. Haag, of 419 North 10th Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at
Sturgeon Bay. He was born July 10, 1911 in Two Rivers, son of the late Matt
Haag and Anna Schrimpf Haag Kanzelberger. In 1939 he opened Roy's Tire and
Battery Service on Quay St. In 1946 he opened Roy's Car Sales on North 10th St.
Mr. Haag retired in 1985. He spent his time between Manitowoc and Sand Bay. He
married Hildred Luduron on March 26, 1943.
Survivors include his wife, Hildred, four sons and three daughters-in-law, Doug
and Meryl of Cape Coral, Florida, Roger and Marie of Cape Coral, Florida, Jack
and Gail of Manitowoc and Sand Bay and Ted of Cedarburg; a daughter, Holly of
Sturgeon Bay; nine grandchildren, Kevin, Brian and Darcy of Cape Code, Tony,
Dawn, Randy and Desiree of Milwaukee, Spencer of Cedarburg, Matt and Heather of
Sturgeon Bay; two sisters, FLorence Sincoular of Two Rivers and Carole (Clarence)
Boeder of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Haag and
Adeline Broker.
Assisting the family is Davis Mortuary, 1414 Michigan St., Sturgeon Bay. Visitation
from 10 to 11:30 am Saturday, July 28, followed by services at Hope United Church
of Christ, 141 S. 12th Ave., Sturgeon Bay. the Rev. Phil Sweet will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Association or the donor's choice.
