Olga C. Hacker, 97, of 1445 N. 7th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, August 5, 1988 at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Prior to her stay at North Ridge Care Center, Home Care Services were given to her. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. John Rasmussen will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hacker was born May 31, 1891 at Valders, daughter of the late Knuth and Mary Larson Berge. She attended schools in Valders. She was married to Ernst Hacker, June 11, 1913 at Valders, by Rev. O.K. Espeseth. The couple making their home and farmed in the Town of Newton for 31 years, coming to Manitowoc in 1942 to make their home. Her husband preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs.
Hacker was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Anita Hacker of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Verlin Hacker Larson of Valders; a brother,
Morton Berge of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Joseph Elsasser of Waukegan, Illinois; six grandchildren, David Larson of Green Bay, Barbara Larson Novak of Plymouth, Lois Hacker Knack of Beaver Dam, Jean Hacker Stanndard
of Weyauwega, Paul Hacker of Sheboygan Falls and Ned Hacker of Eltville, West Germany and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,
a son, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 pm to 9 pm Sunday and from 10 am until the time of services at the church on Monday. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Bell Tower Fund.
