DIES AT HOME THIS MORNING
Mrs. Louis Halverson Will Be Buried On Thursday
Mrs. Alvina Halverson, 63, wife of Louis Halverson, died at the
residence, 2710 Clark street, early this morning. She had been
ill since last October.
She was born Dec. 16, 1871 in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids and
her maiden name was Schroeder. She was married to Mr. Halverson
in Chicago Jan. 5, 1905. After their marriage they came directly
to Manitowoc and resided here ever since.
The survivors are the widower, three brothers, Charles and Henry
Schroeder of Manitowoc Rapids and William of Newton, and one
sister, Mrs. Jacob Koenig, Town of Liberty.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral Home Wednesday
and until the hour of the funeral Thursday. Services will be
conducted at Pfeffer's Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. D.G.
Ristad, pastor of the First Lutheran church. Burial will be at
Evergreen cemetery.
