SELMAR HALVERSON

Selmar N. Halverson, 77, of Manitowoc Health Care Center, died Friday morning, March 19, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Deacon William Klein will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Halverson was born Nov. 14, 1904, in the Township of Cato, Manitowoc County, son of the late Otto and Clara Reese Halverson. He was educated at Valders. Mr. Halverson was employed at White House Milk Company in Manitowoc for many years and as a caretaker in later years. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, William Halverson; a sister, Mrs. Olga Torkelson of Tigerton, Wis.; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife Annie Munson and his second wife Zeta Quinn, two brothers George and Carl.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 9. a.m. Monday until the time of services. There will be no Sunday visitation at the funeral home.
