Miss Amy C. Halvorsen, 88, of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died Friday evening at the home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in First Lutheran Church Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce Hanstedt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Halvorsen was born Oct. 13, 1889, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Halvor and Catherine Uedenby Halvorsen. She was reared in Manitowoc and attended Manitowoc schools. Miss Halvorsen was a registered professional nurse for many years and did nursing assigments (sic) in hospitals in various cities, including Manitowoc and Madison, Wis., Lincoln, Neb., and Pittsfield, Ill. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday evening and in the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.
