Mrs. George J. Halvorsen, 73, of 934 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Roland L. Schwandt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
The former Rose F. Herman was born at Manitowoc Dec. 11, 1883, daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Herman. She was married at Chicago June 19, 1903, and
the couple came to Manitowoc to live.
Surviving are the husband, a son, Raymond of Two Rivers; three daughters, Mrs.
Mark Trippler of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Harry Drumm and Mrs. Carl Weiss of
Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Irving Degenhart and Mrs. Arthur Paul of Chicago
and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc..(line underinked)
…ning until 10:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be moved to the church where
the body will lie in state until the hour of services.
