DEATH'S VISITATION AT HANSEN HOME BRINGS FIRST BREAK IN FAMILY
CIRCLE OF SIXTEEN MEMBERS
Death made its first visitation to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hansen,
North Fourteenth street Thursday evening and the family circle of sixteen,
parents and fourteen children, was broken by the demise of Ruth, six year
old daughter of the household. The child was a victim of diptheria. A
private funeral was held yesterday afternoon, interrment (sic) being at
Evergreen.
Mr. and Mrs. Hansen have been parents of fourteen children and the death
Thursday night is the first that has occurred in the family. Two other
children of the Hansen home are ill with diptheria. The home is under
quarantine.
Mr. Hansen is a painting and paper hanging contractor.
