Mr. Daniel R. Hansen, 36, of 88 Albert Dr., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, April 22, at
Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Thursday
at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce McKenney will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hansen was born June 16, 1949 at Manitowoc, Wis., son of Leonard and Dolores
Jacobs Hansen. He attended local schools and graduated from Lincoln High School
with the Class of 1967. Mr. Hansen also attended Lawrence University. He married
Sharon Hoffman, July 4, 1980 at Manitowoc, Wis. Mr. Hansen was a local musician
and played with Manitowoc Marine Band. He was a member of Bethany Evangelical
Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; a son, David Hansen; two daughters, Tiffiny
and Amber Hansen; his parents, Leonard and Dolores Hansen of Manitowoc; a sister
and brother-in-law, Jean and Wayne Cannon of Greenleaf, Wis.; his maternal
grandmother, Margaret Jacobs of Manitowoc; a niece, Carie Ann Cannon, other
relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hansen Sr., his maternal grandfather, Oscar Jacobs and an
uncle, Delton Hansen.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 pm to 8 pm this
Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am until noon and then at the church from 1:30 pm
until the time of services.
