Delton R. Hansen, 57, of 2105 County Trunk B, Manitowoc, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning in his home.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund E. Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hansen was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Manitowoc, son of the late Leonard R. and Edna M. Behrman Hansen. He grew up and was educated in Manitowoc. Mr. Hansen was employed with Manitowoc Engineering Co. from 1941 to the present. He served overseas with the U.S. Marine Corps, from 1944 to 1946, during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, treasurer and Sunday School teacher for the church for many years. Mr. Hansen was a member of International Association of of Machinists No. 516 and a member of the County Sheriff's and Deputy Sheriff's Association.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard R. and Dolores and Howard L. and Dorothy of Manitowoc; also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until the time of services Wednesday in the church. The casket will remain closed.
