LEONARD HANSEN (d. 1969)

Leonard R.Hansen Sr., 74, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Saturday at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund Olson will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hansen was born Aug. 5, 1895, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edgar and Ida
Sanderson Hansen. He was a World War I veteran and a retired electrical worker
at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc.
He married Edna Behrman at Manitowoc Sep. 22, 1920, and she survives with three
sons, Delton, Leonard Jr. and Howard of Manitowoc; seven brothers, Delmar, Edgar,
Vernon, Paul, Gordon and William of Manitowoc and Robert of Milwaukee; two sisters,
Mrs. Elida Hodik of Milwaukee and Mrs. Clara Zimmerman of Fond du Lac, and four
grandchildren.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m.
Sunday until 11:30 a.m. Monday and then at the church until time of services.
