MYRA I. HANSEN

Myra Hansen, age 92, formerly of Philippen St., Manitowoc, died on Tuesday,
Nov. 4, 2008, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Myra was born on May 3, 1916, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and
Elsie (Burkart) Kassner. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated in
1934 from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. She married Arthur H. Hansen on
Dec. 3, 1935, in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1978. She
was member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the altar guild and the
church choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Arthur; two grandchildren:
Bonnie Duprey and Terry Markowski; one son-in-law: Alois Peserik; three
brothers: Alon, Arthur and Joseph Kassner; two sisters: Anita Larson and Alice
Skadeland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at St.
Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2601 S. 10th St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Brian
Staude will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, from 5 until 8 p.m. at
the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 1122 S. 8th St., Manitowoc, and
again at church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
The Hansen family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Shady Lane Nursing
Care Center for the wonderful care that was given to Myra.
