Mrs. Thelma M. Hansen, 72, formerly of 1215A Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening in Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Christian Science services will be read at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hansen, nee Thelma Paulus, was born July 11, 1904, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Herman and Katherine Engeldinger Paulus. She attended Manitowoc schools and was a 1922 graduate of Washington High School. She was married to Burton S. Hansen Feb. 24, 1928, Milwaukee. They resided in Milwaukee until 1936 when they moved to Manitowoc. They were owners and operators of Hansen Jewelry Store until 1948. Mr. Hansen preceded her in death in 1947. Mrs. Hansen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 196, Christian Science Church, American Association of Retired Persons and National Chapters. She was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co., Manitowoc, in the accounting and treasury dept., retiring in 1968.
Survivors include a brother, Norman H. Paulus Sr. of Two Rivers and nieces and nephews. A brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Wednesday where an Eastern Star Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:30 o'clock.
