PEORIA, IL - Thomas J. Hansen Sr., 83, of 809 W. Shenandoah Drive died at 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2002, at Proctor Hospital.
Born March 3, 1919, in Milwaukee to Thomas C. and Gudren Hansen, he married Lois Walkington on Aug. 17, 1946, in Greenwood. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Julie (and Ozzie) Patzmann of Batavia; two sons, Eric (and Debbie) and Thomas Jr. (and Cathy), both of Peoria; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was an engineer for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Peoria.
