ADOLPH W. HANSON (d. 1939)

Adolph W. Hanson, 72, of 856 North Fifth street, real estate dealer and retired
manufacturer, died suddenly of a stroke Sunday evening. Mr. Hanson, although not
in the best of health was active until stricken. He accompanied his wife on a
trip down town Saturday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Frazier mortuary chapel,
the Rev. O. K. Espeseth officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Hanson was born in this city in 1866, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hanson.
After completing his schooling he joined his father in operation of the Hanson
Wagon Works, located on York street on the present site of the Kerscher company.
After the death of the elder Hanson he continued head of the company.
Fifteen years ago he retired from this business and in recent years has been
associated with Eugene Kadow in the real estate business.
In 1901 Mr. Hanson married Miss Myrtle Bates of Capron, Ill. She survives with
a brother, Thorval, Los Angeles, Calif.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from this evening until the hour of
the services Wednesday.
