Herbert A. Hanson, 65, of 1020A S. 15th Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, May 22,
1991, at Holy Family Memorial Medial Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will have taken place at
Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born August 1, 1925, in the town of Greenfield, Wis., son of the late Sebert
and Mary Avey Hanson. He served in World War II in the European Theatre.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Lee and Lou Ann Hanson of
Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law, Karen and Craig Rodey of Manitowoc,
Sandy Hanson of LaCrosse, Wis.; two brothers, Roger Hanson and Elmer Hanson, both
of LaCrosse; two sisters, Bernadine Kenyon of Racine, Delores Clark of Texas; four
grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Hanson, Derek Novak and Christopher Rodey, all
of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Jens Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
