YOUTH LOSES IN GRIM BATTLE AGAINST DEATH
Following an illness of a year Lester Hanson died at Maple Crest Saturday night.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon from
the home of his parents, Capt. And Mrs. Louis Hanson, 408 Huron street, the Rev.
O. K. Espeseth officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery.
Lester Hanson was born in this city August 28, 1900 and would have bee twenty-two
years old at his next anniversary. He received his education in the local school.
He did not complete high school, leaving when he was in his junior year. He was
employed in the city until a year ago when illness compelled him to quit. He made
a brave fight for life but it was a losing battle. He is survived by his parents,
Capt. and Mrs. Louis Hanson, four brothers, Elton, Raymond, Ludwig and Walton and
three sisters, Millie, Ethel, and Harriet.
